biography

Born in 1989 in Koper, Slovenia, Rihard Lobenwein graduated in Cultural Heritage of Europe and the Mediterranean at the Faculty of Humanities in Koper in 2013 and earned his master's degree with a summa cum laude in Fine Arts at Arthouse in Ljubljana in 2015.

Painting since his childhood, he has been exhibiting his works at numerous solo and group exhibitions nationally and abroad since 2005.

​

In his works he blends visual languages of the past with today's typical problematics , resulting in postmodern scenarios that melt the boundaries of time. 

​

He lives and works in Strunjan, Slovenia.
